Same thing happens with me at New Delhi railway station paharganj side. Price per plate is 120 and they charge 720. We are in group of 5 people. When we try to argue with them they call more people then we call police And police chowki is Just 100m away. I call the police but they are also involved in it and ask us to pay 2500 instead of 3600
What a great service from Delhi Police.

Yes I'm a victim of the scam. It had happed with me I thought the maximum charge for one plate would be 180.(Roti, paneer, dal, chawal) But they ask me to pay 350 for one plate and I was with my father . So for two plates I paid 700 and I would ask everyone to please ask the rate of everything then eat and moreover ask them to give you the bill so that you can complain somewhere.

Bro humare sath hua tha 😭 mai aur mere papa delhi gaye the exam dene. Aur train late thi to humlog new delhi station se bahar chle gye. Aur station ke bahar hotel ke 7-8 log ghum ghum ke sabko bula rahe the 50 ki veg thali. To humlog gaye 2 plate liye aur khane ke bad jab pay karne gye to bola 50 to sirf chawal ka tha baki sare item ka alag alag rate tha. Aur kuch bolne pe 6-7 log sab unke ektha ho jate. Aur jabardasti paisa le lete. 1 anjaan sahar me admi kya he kar lega. Kyuki police bhi mili hui he rahti ha.

My father had this experience near new Delhi. If you complain to a police they won't do anything bcoz they feed free them and police become lapdogs for a free food. I also the the same experience 3 weeks ago in uttarakhand.

This happened to us in Feb 24 th night. We had to pay 800 rs. we paid without any arguments because these people are looks like criminals. We just requested to take the payment on online method but the denied online.
