Letraset Tria Markers

hey guys!! I just got a set of tria markers and I am really loving them!! so I thought I would do a video talking a little about them!

I started you video to see how you use these markers and you will not believe this but today Saturday May 28th I went to the same store for the first time and I also purchased these markers there. Really cute store for sure and they sure have nice stamps. I live in Trenton. Yay for new toys, Melissa! I won't be getting any markers but I'm loving coloring with the pencils and mineral spirits! Coloring is so much fun! :o)

.... some grey lines at shadowed areas then colour over in your colour the grey blends and takes up the tone of the colour you've added but keeping the shading. also if it's not too presumptuous have a look back at a couple of my videos such as my house mouse Christmas one fir some hints as I have used these for ages and love them. As the other lady said copics are expensive here but I prefer the pro markers anyway. Hugs to you and brilliant for finally taking the plunge, spk soon? Hugs xx

Hi sweet, thanks for the plug and I'm hoping that my little gift of a few pens last year helped inspire you to move forward. Thought it all looked fab but a couple of tips to help you, when you do use two colours while the darker is still wet use the paler one again and go over the whole area a few times don't worry if you get a bit liney or dark as it does fade but this will blend the two colours so well. Just so you know, Letraset now has an ultra fine nib for their basic ProMarkers! It slips on the bullet side (not the chisel) and can be removed when you don't need to use it anymore! And I agree...while I do love Copics, I started with ProMarkers and will always use them more!

They have these on super clearance over on Jerry's Artarama website for about $1.50 to $2.50 each. I just got into markers recently so I had to see what these were like before I went insane and spent my entire paycheck today.

i use promarkers and love them i have never used copics so i couldn't compare but in the uk promarkers are cheaper thank copics but thank you for the comparison. xxx joanne

You would actually be able to do the same with one copic marker when you mentioned the shading. You can keep adding layers with one marker.

It starts dripping out ink maybe cause you put too much ink when you refilled them maybe

These tria markers by letraset not letter set have been around for over 20 years and are the best markers on the market. Copic ones suck and should never be used in my opinion. Letraset have been industry standard for many many years. You can get true Pantone colour matches with them as well and I have never used anything but tria markers and was recommended by all illustration teachers I had.
