Aylesbury News, HS2 Could Ask For More Land In Bucks

HS2 is going to ask for more land in the Chilterns.
In a letter to Cheryl Gillan, the MP for Chesham and Amersham, they say they want additional land in Little Missenden, Great Missenden, Wendover and The Lee.
She said:
"I am regularly contacted by constituents who are understandably concerned about the impact HS2 will have on their everyday lives and properties.

"These changes mark yet more disruption for local communities. I encourage all those affected to look at them carefully. Since footpaths are involved this could also affect people who use them."
The full extent of the possible extra space is:
additional land for tunnel infrastructure works in Little Missenden
reconfiguration of an access track in the Lee
drainage infrastructure and an access track in Great Missenden
realignment of footpaths in Great Missenden.
