Mining fiesta and exp share are the best combo for levelling pets! However if you exp share from a non-mining pet to a non-mining pet, you get 1/9 xp, whereas using a mining pet gets you 1/3 xp on shared pets. You should still use a mining pet and put other pets in exp share slots, and if you REALLY want more xp, use a silverfish.
