Netanyahu holds talks on diplomatic solution to Lebanon conflict

Two senior advisers to US President Joe Biden are scheduled to arrive in Israel on Thursday, in an effort to strike a deal to end the war in Lebanon. They will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other top Israeli officials to discuss a potential ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah. Sami Nader from the Levant Institute for Strategic Affairs has more.

What is always missing about 1701 is that it requires Israel to return the Lebanese territory it still occupies. No one mentions that this is the reason Hezbolla did not withdraw north of the Letani River. They say they will when Israel fulfills its obligations. Israel wants more German UNIFIL troops because a German Navy vessel in UNIFIL shot down a Hezbolla drone. They are actively participating in the conflict which is against their mandate. ❤️🙏🇱🇧🇵🇸🇸🇾🇮🇶🇮🇷🇾🇪
