The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has pleaded not guilty to the seven-count amended charge preferred against him by the Federal Government. Mr Kanu, who appeared before trial Justice Binta Nyako, said he was innocent of all the allegations leveled against him by the federal government after the charge was read to him in the open court.

Asking for self determination is not a crime. All of us at one time or the other want to be free from parents, associations, groups, nations. That's what independence is all about.

Point of correction Madam; the court didn't reject application to transfer our leader, instead the court said due security purposes Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should still remain with DSS for now. You can't give news the way it's! Were you inside the court today?
