Hello pal, I just wanted to thank you. It wasn't that hard, yet I was really struggling to find a guide about this.
You saved my day cause my android box (an expensive one, not a crap) wouldn't connect to my win 10 machine through smb.
NFS on the other hand works like a charm and it's even more stable and faster than smb! It's unbelievable. I can watch high bitrate 4k videos flawlessly now. Those same videos would stutter all the time through SMB.

For those which may have some problems to connect from linux, you have to specify the version (3).

sudo mount -t nfs -o nolock, vers=3 192.168.2.54:/folder /home/user/folder

Thank you, it finally worked! Been playing around with default windows 10 nfs service with no luck even after reading 10 different tutorials. Probably missed something or not good enough to understand :D Anyway, i have a question. How can i check in windows which protocol nfs use? Or better how to force NFS to work and use only TCP protocol?
