We aim that our series of training is going to equip the mathematics faculty of colleges and schools with:
1. A thorough knowledge of the background subject matter for school syllabuses.
2. A rigorous introduction to Mathematical Thinking (logic), SSC (Matric) and HSC Mathematics according to Agha Khan and other Boards.
3. An insight into the foundations of mathematics and the building of mathematical theories.
4. Experiences of examples drawn from a wider field of applications of mathematics, and of the idea of using mathematical models for the solution of practical and theoretical problems.
5. The ability to reorganize mathematical subject matter, to arrange teaching sequences in mathematical topics, to develop the material of examples and exercises for an inductive presentation of concepts and structures, to select appropriate levels of precision and terminology for teaching mathematics at various levels.
6. A scientific knowledge of pedagogy, psychology, didactics, and methodology to enable him to take an active part in the development of new teaching approaches in mathematics and in research in this field, and to establish the right background for the selection of the pedagogical means of using various situations in the classroom. @RUeamHK0X6#
