We also have a lot of non-Covid medical education videos on our website medcram.com. Join us there for continuing medical education units on all sorts of topics, such as EKG, blood tests, and chest x-ray interpretation just to name a few.

I'm not vaccinated, but followed the way my mother used to deal with us when we started to get sick, immediatly in bed with extra blankets and fever it out. And next day better.
But why was the official advice to go out and let your self be tested ?
So, in stead of going in bed, one had to go to a test centre, wait in line, get tested, go home and wait till the next day for the result and then when the result was positive, one still did not know what to do.
I thought the official advice was strange and am glad that my mother taught us what to do.

What do you have to say about these protein clots that embalmers are struggling to remove of late?

Does anyone remember the interview where Dr. Seheult talked about how hospital design was changed in the 1950s to be more factory like and got rid of windows, natural light, and ventilation?

T-cells is short for Thymus Cells because they are produced by the Thymus glands. The number of T-cells drops as the size of the Thymus glands drops due to age. The Thymus gland size starts to drops rapidly after the age of 50 year old. Hence, the immune system weakens as one ages which is why Covid 19 is more risky for the elderly who are over the age of 65.

I have followed your videos on Covid (disease, treatment, vaccination, complications). You've been honest and scientific, and explained concepts such that anybody can understand. It helped me challenge and educate a LOT of people who were swayed by misinformation from social media. Thank you for your efforts.

Thanks! I’ve been coming to your site since the beginning of Covid for the deep dive. I appreciate the science and your explanations.

I'm a GP in Poland and Covid basically disappeared overnight after February 24th 2022 due to more pressing concerns arising along our eastern border. But seriously I had 2 patients die throughout the entire pandemic one was 92 years old with numerous comorbidities (he would have likely died regardless) one was 44 (sad) and that was with the early strains which had the loss of smell so you knew right away even without antigen tests that it was covid.

Nowadays if I can't distinguish it clinically from the other 800 viruses that cause mild upper respiratory tract infection, and there is no additional actions to be taken then IMHO this is all academic. I mean I am not going to be sending these patients to hospital for IV monoclonal antibody treatment unless they are really unwell, and the PO drugs specific to covid are ridiculously expensive, unavailable, or the patient comes in later than 5 days from symptom onset making them pointless.

Most cases a patient has a mild runny nose or sore throat and temperature <38.0 C picks up an test from the pharmacy it's covid positive and I paracetamol, fluids, and bed rest.

Thank you for continuing to provide ongoing important Covid information. One thing that troubles me is how can we rely on the graphs showing infections and deaths for current variants when, in many areas, there is minimal to no testing and tracking going on?

Maybe I am naturally immune to all these. I never got sick or vaccinated. My entire household has had covid many times. I sleep next to my partner even when she was sick. Has anyone else not been sick?

There's a fundamental difference between India and the US. India's obesity rate is MUCH, MUCH lower. Unless this new variant is similar to an old variant, the impact will be worse in the US.

Hospitalizations and deaths are lagging indicators. Case numbers are grossly understated due to cutbacks in official testing. That's why I watch the wastewater viral load instead.

I had covid last week. I had sore throat, fever 102 for 3 days, running nose, chills, body aches, cough. I took d3 and k2, zink, and vitamin C. I slept very well each night and only on the 4th day, I was feeling worse and then, I started using xylitol to clean up my sinuses. I felt much better by Sunday. So, this COVID lasted 1 week for me. All symptoms are gone by Monday.

Seeing that you talk about risk versus benefits: way do you not show a study about te massive excess deaths amongst the vaccinate seeing that you still promote vaccines

Curious about long covid and if there are any differences about the number of covid infections and/or if the specific variant makes it more likely, or if it's roughly the same regardless of variant/vaccination status/# of infections.

American (Ohio) here. I had a really bad sore throat, cough, and pink eye a couple weeks ago. Tested negative for covid twice, but when i went to 2 different doctors, I also tested negative for strep throat and they didn't know what it was. I was given 2 different antibiotics and neither helped. So I'm thinking maybe it was this new strain of covid. So I'd say the new variant is very much so present in the United States right now, it's just going unreported because at-home tests don't test positive for it.
