Fun fact: in the wilds of America, all sewing related supplies (fabric, thread and floss, elastic) are all measured in yards. As in, “I’ll take three yards from that bolt of fabric.” So no surprise then they used yards to describe string in a kit from the US.

Sika was right about the iron, when fusing items with an iron never move it back and forth (you risk something shifting) only press and hold and lift, repeat for entire surface.
