I was told the story of when at the 1982 Grammys - the year Barry sang the duet with Barbara Streisand - later than night the Gatlin Bros went to Barry Gibbs's suite at the NY Hilton and they sat around singing old Bee Gee/Gatlin songs and others oldies. Rudy Gatlin missed being there as he had taken a friend to dinner. This was the initial connection. Then around 1984 Larry went to Barry's place in Florida where they wrote Indian Summer together. When singing one of the lines Barry commented, "this would be a great song for Roy Orbison". Larry said, "well let's call him, I've got his number!". And the rest is history - and this amazing video with some of the best voices ever recorded, and a beautifully written song by Barry Gibb and Larry Gatlin. With nearly 6 million views, I think many agree.

I am a old 74 year old man I found this song about two weeks ago. I can’t believe I’ve never heard before. What a song with Roy Orbison singing Etta with the Gatlin Brothers and Barry Gibb. It should be released as a single absolutely amazing track I play it every day. Now my wife is getting lead off when me playing it all the time. LOL
