Actor and Producer Kate Winslet and Director Ellen Kuras join Atlantic staff writer Shirley Li for a conversation following the screening of the new film, Lee.

Lee Miller’s photographs of the Second World War, its victims, and its consequences remain among the most viewed and historically significant of their time. Miller changed war photography forever, but she paid an enormous personal price for what she witnessed and the stories she fought to tell.

Because of this movie, I read Anthony Penrose book The Lives of Lee. And wow. She was wild, and truly extraordinary. Kate is extraordinary…. So glad she brought life to the history of Lee.
