We have them here in Kentucky. When we started building our house, we lived in the basement for a couple of years before building the next story. They came in all the time. We had to shake out clothes, shoes, check under covers before getting into bed, etc . Our county agent didn’t believe me when I asked for help getting rid of them. He said Kentucky don’t have any. I showed up and set one on his desk in a mason jar. He’s a believer 😂 😂😂😂😂
We’ve never been stung by one but ppl who have say it’s like a wasper sting.

They glow in the dark with a black light. Becareful they will hang out above the door frames. Maybe get a black light so you can see what's really around.
