Homework question answer:-

E = P x t
Energy consumed by 3 tubelights per day = 3 x 40 x 5
=3 x 200
= 600Wh = 0.6 KWh
Energy consumed by 2 fans per day= 2 x 80 x 12
= 160 x 12
= 1920Wh
= 1.92 KWh
Energy consumed by 1 TV per day = 1 x 60 x 5
= 300Wh
= 0.3 KWh
Energy consumed by all the three devices in 30 days = 30 [ 0.3 + 1.92 + 0.6]
= 30 x 2.82
= 84.6 KWh
Cost = total energy x rate
= 84.6 x 3
= ₹ 253.8
Option A is the correct answer
