I have a recessed box behind my tv, so I don’t need the whole power kit recommended for this installation. I’m curious, though, if anyone can recommend a similarly sized pass through (the part just behind this mount) and/or conduit so to route the cables through the wall and up to the recessed box. i understand that this mount, when extended, tends to sag down about a 1/4" due to the weight, has this defect been fixed? I wrote to Sanus about a week ago but no one has bothered to answer my concern.

Four weeks ago, I posted the issue with the mount, sagging due to the weight, I wrote to Sanus a week before my post and do know what Sanus Customer Service has done? NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! This video here, is from Sanus and they did not reply to the post I placed and they never replied to my concern, so this basically proves that they DO know that this is a problem but they could care less, as long as people keep buy their defective product, they don't care. I have a Sonos Arc, I am waiting for delivery of my 85” Class QN900A Samsung Neo QLED 8K Smart TV (2021) - NextGen TV, but I have decided that I will slim mount my TV to the wall and place the Sonos Arc on our new TV stand, forget Sanus, if we, aren't important to them, screw them, I am not about to spend my money on a product that the company that makes and sells them, would stand up for it's very own product. If you do, well, that's on YOU.
