Cobb County's sheriff started using robots to guard inmates at the local jail. The wheeled machined stand nearly six-feet tall and are equipped with 360-degree cameras, night vision, heat detection and two-way audio capabilities. Officials say the robots will spend half their time working outside the facility and the other half patrolling detainees inside select pods.'
