I’m amazed that the VU is even picking anything up; nothing came out of my speakers with the door closed. I would’ve thought a Doppler effect that sounded out of tune might have been produced, considering various experiments I’ve conducted using vocal microphones and discovered that my singing sounded very pitchy with me trying to sing at a distance.
