We Found a Crashed Lexus LFA (it’s really bad)

Some cars are created that change the industry forever. The Lexus LFA was definitely one them to make an impact. A Yamaha engineered V10 with a screaming triple exhaust out the back, it became one of the best sounding cars ever built. Only 500 examples of the Lexus LFA were ever made, and when we heard one was in a bad accident, we had to check it out. This actually gives us a lot of insight of how the Lexus LFA was produced, how it worked, and so much more. So let's take a look and see if it's worth restoring a Lexus LFA!

Would you fix it if you had the chance?

LFA & Carrera GT will eternally transcend time

I see LFA I click right away 😮‍💨

Anyway this is extremely depressing seeing a LFA in this condition. The body being full carbon is just a tiny bit of why this car was so expensive. Also for those reading the V10 is as compact as a V6 engine.

1:31 Previous owner's sticker looks like it belongs on a 2005 Nissan Altima, but it helps to explain how someone could mangle a masterpiece like an LFA

I love that he actually drives it. And he is happy that it did the most important thing protect him so he's here to tell the story

I was so sad to see when this LFA crashed since I’ve seen it so many times, hopefully the rebuild will go well and it will be back on the road again!

You guys are the only ones who were empathetic and interested in the next steps. Everyone else online had crass inappropriate jokes, like Chu wasn’t sad and devastated his damn self.

I’ve met him and what you see on camera is what you get. He did well to choose your team to help document the rebuild. Thanks for posting!

I used to do parts at Lexus and LFA parts *if available* were not as much as you'd imagine but still wild. It's also super cool to see the underneath of such a rare exotic car. Hope it gets some love

Chu is one of the most humble guys around, can’t wait for the LFA to be back on the road. I’m not surprised that he’s fixing it he loves that car, im glad I got to sit in it a few times

I love chu man, the picture on my profile pic is me sitting in this exact car. He knew this was my dream car because he saw me wearing a LFA hoodie and that was my first time ever seeing one lol .Every time I went to caffeine and octane I had a nice convo with him. When I heard it was wreaked felt like I lost a family member man shit was crazy. Glad to see you made this video.🙂

As the LFA is my ultimate Dream car, the car i would chose if i could only drive 1 car for the rest of my life, i would absolutely fix this. It may be expensive and time consuming. But these cars are too legendary to just scrap and throw away. Look forward to seeing this LFA get another chance at life.

Fun Fact: The V10 is the size of a V8 and the weight of a V6🤯.
