My Dad asked me eons ago "do you know the difference between old money and new money?" "What Dad?" "New money shows off, old money has money because you save money. A new expensive car or a year or 2 old car will both take you where you want tp go.". A wonderful life lesson st a tender year. I tell others and hope this helps others. Stay in your budget. Stay under the budget. You do not need to spend it. Impress no one. Stay humble.

I have over 800 and went to get a car. I told them I was just shopping around but they insisted in running my credit. I said fine and he came back excited and said I can pick any car “I know you won’t be missing a payment.” His smile turned into a frown when I asked for the out the door price and realized that my intend was to pay in cash.
