I'll break it down for you. As a leadoff, Lindor first @ bat has no pressure. Lindor is taking pitches, and he sizes up the pitcher. Instead of coming up in the first inning and facing a pressure situation right from the start with runners on base, and as a result, he has to change his approach. That's all the difference, no real mechanical difference.
