Great tutorial. I learned that I don't have to paint the entire inside of the nail with the gel. Just apply the glob and press firmly down to spread it. Will try that on my next set and see if it helps with air pockets. I still need to improve on cleaning up the cuticle area - I think that's what really makes or breaks the finished look of a gel-x application. And there's a learning curve because it's not so realistic to try to clean up excess gel while trying to cure your applied nail. Not sure if I'm brave enough to try removing it with the drill lol but maybe the more comfortable I get with it, I will. Thanks so much for teaching!!
