I just had an experience in a public place with my puppy. (My puppy Luna is NOT being trained for any service but she should still be socialized) I was holding her due to the large crowd and a man walking up, while his wife was YELLING behind him to ask, and started aggressively touching my dog.

I stepped away and asked him to stop but he stepped forward and continued. I was in such shock it was my friend who intervened and got the man to leave us.

the hardware store seems to be such a good place to train and i get it… wide aisles, not usually too busy but still people around… i love to see it!

My local homedepot is pet friendly and I've actually be working on training my dog(just in general not service dog) and he's been doing absolutely incredible its amazing how much they can learn in "real world" experiences
