Walnut Burfi
Servings - 7 - 9
INGREDIENTS
Sweetened condensed milk - 400 milliliters
Unsweetened cocoa powder - 1 tablespoon
Desiccated coconut - 100 grams
Grind walnuts - 250 grams
PREPARATION
1. Heat 400 milliliters sweetened condensed milk in a heavy skillet, add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder and mix well. Bring it to a boil.
2. As soon as it starts boiling add 100 grams dessicated coconut and 250 grams grind walnuts. Mix well.
3. Continue cooking with stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes or till it becomes very thick and comes together like a dough. It also leaves the side of the pan.
4. Remove it to grease container.
5. Evenly spread and smooth out the surface.
6. Let it cool down and set completely.
7. Once set, cut into squares using sharp knife.
8. Remove the pieces and serve or store in airtight container.
