John was a true balance between the three brothers, he was as equally brutal, strong and brave as Arthur but also had an underlying intellect similar to Thomas.

And what made him more unique was his stronger mental resolve compared to his brothers. Where they were traumatised by war he simply revelled in the chaos of battle, he enjoyed it.
