The only problem i see is that all P4 spin-off games were canon, even dancing all night. That wouldn't be much trouble for P5 Dancing Star Night, but what are they going to do about P3 Daning Moon Nights story? They look like they are the same age as the main game and also the protagonist is alive...

I woke up and saw the Dancing Moonight video getting recommend to me. I watched that and screamed at 3 in the morning then I saw the persona 5 dancing all night and screamed then saw the beginning of this video and saw Q2 and screamed again. I am so glad I got into persona last year and that the videos get recommended to me. Wouldn't of known otherwise. Someone tell me this isn't a dream!

Don't go out of your way for it, but I would very much recommend playing Persona Q. While still a bit on the "fanservice-y" side, it has easily the best story of all the spinoffs with even a decent amount of substance to sink your teeth into. Also, the combat is my favorite in the whole series! Whoever came up with the idea of sub-Personas is a fucking genius!
