I didn't know there is artificial turf for real grass to grow through and it keeps the dogs paws from the mud and tearing up your grass with a constant trail and with holes they dig up. Plus you can lay grass seeds before you lay the perforated grass turf down.

Okay once I saw the grass growing through it I was sold this is what I need for my front yard....I just bought a house and they neighbors use to use the yard as their own parking lot so it's all mud no grass and I've been trying to grow seeds, but my dogs run all over this will help so much thank you 💜

I actually do something like this for where I have my chicken's area I lay flate plastic grates that covers half the ground in their enclosure the grates have a 2" lip so it stands when it's laid upside down.... I throw my seed mix under it so it can get watered it actually grows throw the grates allowing my chickens to eat fresh tops daily and every month the grates get moved to the other side of the enclosure so I can start that side with seeds it definitely keeps their enclosure clean and looking pretty with grass.

Love this. We have 5 rescue pups and the paw traffic is heavy on my husband gorgeous lawn. Well it was gorgeous. This is a great idea for the spots that are now just dirt. Thanks for sharing.

Holy cow! I thought this looked awful but now that I see the grass growing through it I love this idea! I have the same issues with my 3 dogs. My yard has ruined grass spots thanks to them.

I manage a dog daycare & we installed this in our muddy areas 4 years ago. It does protect from mud but it absolutely cannot be mowed. Any mowing or trimming over it will shred the turf. It's still better than mud, though.
