i ended up with an I90 by accident. Bought it for a friend, but we ended up not talking anymore, and she never picked it up. It has more features than i realized

i wear this as a daily to ride to work in Jakarta, Indonesia, because the climate is too hot for a full face helmet. It's the best of both worlds for a daily, it can be a fullface when riding to keep the wind down. But, u can flip it up at a stoplight so u dont get all sweaty. Downside is it tends to fog up a bit when its raining, but a pin-lock solved it

2 years later, this is still an awesome helmet

4:05 if anybody is concerned about the comm placement due to the location of the visor mechanism, don't worry. I have a Cardo Pack Talk on my RPHA 90 (same mechanism location), and it's no trouble to reach. I was a little worried about that when I was installing the comm, but it hasn't been a problem.

I just bought two of them; one for my wife, and one for myself. I love mine!! I love how it hugs my head, and I love how the vents actually WORK. It's the first helmet I've owned where I can actually notice the difference when the vent is open and closed. It's very easy to operate, pretty quiet overall, and very comfortable. As with most helmets though, putting it on with any type of earbud in is pert near impossible. However, I found Decibullz earplugs that work with the helmet. They won't play music, but they'll save your hearing, which is FAR more important.

This is the first full face helmet I've owned. Fits well I like the features and price point. I finally realized at 48 what good is wearing a half helmet when your face gets ripped off.

Love this helmet! The modular face fits snug when shut and feels very secure, wind noise is minimal, and the drop down sun visor is all I wanted an more. Airflow could be better but on the last 3 hour ride i wore it on I had no real complaint of my head getting too hot while moving.

I bought the I90 about a month ago, and i am very happy with it. This helmet has small indentations on the padding so that the legs of glasses bother you less. I find it really comfortable with my prescription glasses. The sunvisor latch does not bother me one bit. Sure, comms could be awkward to reach, but i want my hand on the throttle and not on my helmet. I feel it's a choice for both the manufacturer and the customer, and i don't think it's a mistake. Maybe a less fortunate choice in design, but not "a dumb mistake from another helmet manufacturer".Plus: It came with the pinlock visor when i bought it, wich is a big plus for me. And most helmets at this price range don't. At least not here in Europe. I mostly ride on low speeds (max. 80 km/h) because of oldtimers and mopeds, so no expert on the noise level. But for an affordable helmet it is really comfortable.

I bought this helmet cuz i didnt know anything. Started on a ninja 500, now riding a 636, and i am still more than willing to keep this helm forever. Sneeze and got bogies? Lift and spit. Bike is hot and gassing you? Mod open and get fresh air! Sitting at a long light, crack the visor, crack the mod , I can always breathe with this hel.et. cardo is awkward but it fits. God i love this thing.

Those side slides for the sunvisor has been a thing on Schuberth for YEARS. It works just fine with them. And if you go with Cardo you can actually use your phone's voice assistant like Google and Apple's, unlike Sena who is the Harley of comm systems, selling old tech at a premium price, won't even release proper speakers for music, like Cardo did, with JBL.

Been using I90 for 6 months great helmet the only downside is that it is not a quiet helmet sometimes wind noise can get annoying!

I compared these two side by side and ended up choosing the older model. I found that the shade was more difficult to operate (considering lack of practice), but more importantly, the newer model had less peripheral visibility.

It's handy to have the visor open but still be able to shift the dark visor down.
Noise level is moderate.
I like the i90 for it's modular feature and Pinlock visor included.

I have had the i90 since March 2020, and have toured near 14000 km on my adventure bike though Ireland. There are quite a few positive points regarding the helmet that I would definitely stand by i.e. Price, Quietness, Comfort, Modular.

One major gripe I do have about this helmet though, is that it has been back to the manufacturer twice for repairs to the chin mechanism.

There are three small screws behind the visor and chin mechanism on the helmet, and these have come loose over 7 times on my helmet since March and considering I use my motorcycle everyday, I will often have the chin guard up whist riding in the built-up city areas when it is relatively warm weather, and then obviously put it in the full face spec when on the motorway.

This has become rather irritating considering I have to get a loan helmet from my local motorcycle shop every time as I use my motorcycle everyday. Although my partner is not as often on the motorcycle with me, her helmet (exact same model), has now developed the same issue.

Waiting for HJC Europe to come back with a solution to this recurring problem.

i drilled 4 1/4" holes in the back of mine. no complaints now but before this it was ridiculously hot in there. get an anti fog shield you will need it. the low noise is worth it if you like to listen to music instead of the wind/bike

I've had this helmet now for almost 2 years. Not my favorite by a long shot. A lot of wind noise, rattles a lot, Shield won't stay open about 25 mph, but worst of all this thing feels like a cinder block. Super HEAVY!!

I currently use the IS-Max 2 and I feel it's a great helmet for the money. I'll be curious to see real user reviews of the new i90. Many times when they make helmet's quieter, they also give less air flow. So I wonder how much hotter this helmet will be in summer heat.

The black one is the best I got one in the U.K. .I don’t find it noisy or hard to operate the sun visor. I don’t use any cameras or comms on my crash helmets I only want to hear the sweet sound of my bikes engine .That grey helmet looks boringly grey & naff .you could well have some problems trying to offload them at any price .
