My husband was never the kind—he always understood because he was in there doing it with me, and still is even though three of my kids are around 40 years old, and one has kids of their own.

I feel you on this! When I was younger I did want to be one of those Pinterest moms (part of me still does) but the reality is that crap happens and I’m not a Pinterest mom. I think the most important thing is to be there for your children and show them love and care. The Pinterest stuff can come later.

Thirty yr old of three kids here. Thank you for sharing. My toddler is my alarm clock. I don’t always get to the chores. My clothes always seem to have something on them. But my kids are happy, healthy, loved, and safe. Couldn’t ask for anything more. 😊
