Organ: Various builders (1402-1967 [2024]); Cathédrale-Basilique Notre-Dame, District IV, Paris, France

Improvised as the voluntary for the Midnight Mass (25 December 1968) of Notre-Dame de Paris on the traditional hymn 'Adeste Fideles'.
THIS IS NOT THE SORTIE OF 1967. PLEASE EXCUSE THE TYPO AT THE END.

The poor bastards who have to improvise on 'Come oh ye faithful' after Cochereau just hit this carol into a low orbit around Betelgeuse. This is insane. Insanely awesome.

Love the bombarde at m.136 - this would be a great showy piece for a pianist transitioning to organ as there's not a lot of technical difficulty particularly with pedal but it sure sounds challenging to the ear!
