This nearly made me tear up. I was your age when this song was new. We were amazed by the video back then. We never dreamed that kids our age would have the tools readily available to so accurately create/recreate something that seemed like magic back then. You all did such a great job.

The year was 1984 I was 16 years old saw this video on MTV. And I loved it and it's been a melody in my head all these years.. I enjoy that a new generation can love its brilliance.. congratulations this was a wonderful tribute

This is amazing quality. The original video took a team of professionals 4 months to make. The technology makes it much easier but it's still a very impressive school project.

Completely mind blowing that back in the day when that original video was released, that was STATE OF THE ART video effects....and now kids can do the same thing at home. I love technology and I'm glad I'm part of it.

If you're producing this sort of quality at school, I hope it is recognised, and that you're considering pursuing this as a career. Having grown up with the original, it still stands as one of the best to this day - and you have managed to replicate it as closely as possible with no (or limited) budget, and still make it your own.
