Learn how to create a Perspective Section! In this video, I show the best workflow to create these types of images. We're going to use Sketchup as our 3D software, but you can adapt to what you're most used to. Then we jump into Illustrator and Photoshop with linked files to make it look awesome!

I immediately remember a classmate of mine back in Architecture school who makes perspective sections in his exam plates. Manually.

For some one who did not understand what happened after 9:30 .. he painted the background with blue with alt+backspace in the new layer then he made the black Square and kept it selected while hitting mask on layer 1 so the black portions on layer 2 became the revealed part on layer 1.

You can do this on illustrator too and keep it vectorised, that way you don't lose detail when you scale it up accordingly to your presentation board

I just started an interior design course, and I started believing that everything had to look a "certain way" but your videos are showing me that presentation can be very creative and doesn't have to be dry technical drawings (of course those are needed too) but in terms of presenting, you are able to treat the drawings like cool graphics, and I'm really excited to know that! (they don't teach you that in school!)
