I just got my PS5 last month and have only played 2 games on it but my favorite game that I have played so far honestly was “Astro’s Playroom” I just had a huge smile on face playing this game it was a celebration of PlayStation and welcoming to you to the PS5

One game that I think doesn't get talked about enough is Kena bridge of spirits, I absolutely love that game and really hope they make a second!

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I’ve ever played on any console. I was very surprised by how much I enjoy it.

The process of buying a PS5 is like a hobby in itself. Took me a month of obsession. But worth it. The controller and 3D audio are amazing. Returnal is a perfect intro to what the console can do.

I am in the same boat with Ghost of Tsushima! I have such a huge backlog of games to play, but I Platinum'd this one on PS4, and then again with all the extra content + multiplayer on PS5, playing through entire game again, so good!

I'm playing Cyberpunk now, it's fantastic. Still has some small bugs(nothing game breaking). Love the world, story, characters, combat and music. 100% recommend!

Like a dragon was such an amazing game, I look back on it like I went on vacation in Japan and happened to be in the Yakuza for a bit. The side stories are phenomenal, the characters are great, if you haven't played it, play it. Even if you just play it for a little while, it's worth the experience.

My favorite PS5 games I played/own are Elden Ring, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Disco Elysium and Hitman 3.
Honorable mentions to Sifu and Guardians of the Galaxy.

I just finished cyberpunk I got the platinum trophy and have 120 hours in that game. I absolutely loved it. I'm very excited to hear you are going to play it. Few bugs here and there but nothing that will break the game whatsoever. Can't wait to hear what you think of it!

Great recommendations, Johnny🤘🏼. I agree with all of them. However, I want to say thank you for including Returnal. I had a really interesting relationship with Returnal. I almost gave up on the game. Even as a Souls fan I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to stick with this one.

Then one day, I had a REALLY good run. I just had a series of lucky breaks and the RNG hit just right for my weapons and I made it ALL THE WAY to the 5th biome. That reawakened me. After that, I just kept replaying, and things that were hard for me before that, they got easier. I was now able to essentially skip past the first part of the game because once you get halfway you don't have to replay the first 3 biomes again. And the rest is history, I beat the game two weeks later.

This is truly a game that can eventually click for you. Now I replay it regularly!

Personally, i'd include Control, Hades and A Plague Tale: Innocence in this list. Loved these games.
