Lyrics:
In my dreams I tell you that I always dream about you in my dreams
In my heart there is a thought that’s always thinking of you here it seems

And even at the ending of the world
You know I’m always thinking of you girl
And all this heavy rain
Heavy rain

Here is where I always know that knowing here is where I’m meant to be
The clock is softly ticking in the old man’s heart the hallways have no key

And even at the ending of the world
You know I’m always thinking of you girl
And all this heavy rain
Heavy rain

All this heavy rain
All this heavy rain
All this heavy rain

Even at the ending of the world
You know I’m always thinking of you girl
And all this heavy rain
This heavy rain Heavy rain
It’s here again
All this heavy rain
All this heavy rain
All this heavy rain

Beautiful, like greeting an old friend after many years apart, knowing that time may age us, but the important things will never change.

Moved to Sheffield from Romania in 2019. I love music a lot and I knew Arctic Monkeys and Jarvis Cocker were from here but to my shame I did not know about Richard Hawley. Until one day when I visited with my little boy the Weston Park museum and in one of the rooms there they had like these old phones where you could listen to various things and on one of them was Coles Corner...after hearing that I was hooked. He is such an amazing artist and in my opinion very underrated. I also like the fact that he loves Sheffield so much.

It’s a shame he never broke in the USA. I have been dying to see him live but unfortunately I’m on the other side of the pond. Seems these days talent doesn’t matter and in order to “break” in a big way these days you have to be part of the machine. It’s too bad more people in America have heard of artists like Sam Smith, and not authentic artists like Richard H.

This is beautiful, timeless, transcendent music. Richard is a musical architect with a special talent for building bridges with melancholic foundations that carry melody to connect hearts that didn't know they wanted to connect.

Listening to this in Yorkshire as it is indeed chucking it down 😂 Beautiful song - can't wait to hear it live at Rock and Roll Circus in August!

Travelled to Sheffield recently for my aunt's funeral, when I got off the train it was raining heavily. When I heard this song it stopped me in my tracks, summed up exactly how I felt that day.

Beautiful, haunting, poignant, uplifting and sad...and that's just the intro. Then Richard starts singing and takes it to a whole new level!

First time hearing this, really lovely sound! Instantly likeable & 'listenable' (I'm mainly into 50s & 60s music). It sounds like it's going to be a future classic (a compliment!) in a similar way to Chris Rea's "Driving Home For...". Great music!
