When Every Poke Ball Is A Master Ball #pokemon

Показать описание
Poke Balls have been in the Pokemon series since gen 1 (Red and Blue). One of the most famous variants is the Master Ball, which never fails to catch a Pokemon. But every Poke Ball functions like a Master Ball on select routes in generation 6 (X and Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire) and generation 7 (Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun, and Ultra Moon).

I'll never forget catching Xerneas with a regular pokéball and seeing that it had a lonely nature.. me too. Me too.

that x and y feature saved me. i found a shiny fletchling route 1 with a single pokeball and i thought i was super lucky to have caught it lmao

The only known master ball fail, was when a whiscash ate it in the anime

I had an old sun save file (my first Pokemon game) and one of my very first encounters was a shiny growlith. Very glad they added that catch rate because I only had 10 balls

Same with the shadows makuhita in colosseum. Since it your first shadow, and the first chance to build your team, it’s as free as one pokeball (which happen to be literally free up to that point in the game)

The Master Ball is well known for never failing, meanwhile Kieran trying to return Terapagos back to its master ball just for it to break

In XY the ball doesn't fail until you've gone to Santulune City, so it's 100% all the way up to and including Santulune Woods

I'm the only one who's still nervous when waiting for the Master Ball to finish the catching animation lol

This makes me both appreciate and realize how badly one of my first encounters could've gone when I first played Y. I encountered a Shiny Caterpie and, as usual, decided to weaken it first and my Chespin nearly 1-shot crit ko'd it, so I panicked and threw a pokeball, hoping and praying it didnt wiggle out, and the little guy stayed put. I still have 50%Butterfre to this day.

If i remember correctly the master balls skips the entire catching formula to give you a guarantee catch so this is probably what's happening here they just didn't add the catching formula for this route

In gen 9. The master ball does fail. But only for Kieran

you will never have to worry about missing a pokeball if you spam them until you wear out the code
