Faith is a spiritually fruitful quality, it develops as we exercise it, but like all spiritual fruits, when we're filled with the Spirit we immediately are made whole, healthy, and as we persevere in seeking God to know Him, these qualities develop in us and He carries us farther. But faith is a spiritual fruit, and we have a measure of patience, we all have a measure of kindness, those things are intrinsically part of someone created in the image of God, but they're not necessarily gonna develop.
