Its not the fuel tanks its being conservative on 1st flight! Yep this type of plane needs a very high AoA for landing which is why concorde had the swing nose.

I reckon the flight was just short for this one because they wanted to initially just test the systems. Hopefully we see some longer flights soon. Great footage!!

Delta's require, and prefer, a high A of A. at low speed.

Maybe the high angle of attack was because the pilot is judging his landing using the plane’s camera? It doesn’t have the traditional canopy like most planes. You need cameras to see in front of the nose.

Delta wing aircraft require a high angle of attack on approach. That is why Concord had the droop nose. Looked normal to me!🎉
