I want the detail from 2019 with the size of 2001

Just a suggestion. But when you do the design section of comparison. You should show a picture of the craft in the film. So we can see how close it matches up.

I feel the mini figure selection feels incomplete as I think Vader and two storm troopers would have completed it for me to recreate scenes like the break in or Leia’s confrontation with Vader.

The 2001 version is definitely dated, but I think its retro look adds to the charm. That brick built cockpit just looks so sweet.

I wish that the tantive 4 could’ve had playability where u can recreate the battle between the rebels and the empire.

The ‘09 set was the first “big” Lego set I was gifted, and I still have it. I love that it is big enough to display and still “swooshble”. For a big ‘09 set the Tantive IV provided an impressive amount of mini figures and detail.

The gaps in the engines of the new model are actually more accurate to the in universe design of the Tantive IV

I love the 2009 because I love older sets especially with old outdated prints on figs! I just have the nostalgia for the old figs and sets!

Nothing beats the original UCS set. Playability isn't really an option at my age.
Really disappointed Lego didn't rerelease the 2001 set this year, big mistake.
Great if you own the original though.
