Wow, I had a mix that I just could not nail. Did this trick. Soloed each track fixed it and turn this eq off. My mix now pops. Every insturment has a home and it sounds perfect on my cellphone speaker, ant speaker. Thank you so so much.

Absolutely. I've actually tried this trick once while mixing on a pair of Yamaha MSP3s and bouncing back and forth between them and a pair of M-Audio BX-8s and I was amazed at how well the mix translated when played back on other speakers.

Never had the NS-10's, but I'm pretty sure that's more a telephone filter than an NS-10 emulation. Sheesh.

might wanna test it, the CLA nx plugin, has a ns10, and boombox option, its one of those plugins that emulate studio monitors, i dont know how accurate it is, but since its litreally just a monitoring plugin, its a great way to reference on headphones

I Use powered studio monitors then switch to a home system (Yamaha CR 1020 with YAMAHA home speakers .for me, that gets me on target. I will still test this midrange idea.
