I drove the montero of my friend and I would say that it is a powerful and capable vehicle. I would drive it any day. I wish I can afford it.

Agree. Really, you get more of your money with Montero. And surprisingly, more so in the lower to mid-end variant trims. The only reason you go for toyota is for the toyota badge with a promise of good resale. But whats the point of buying if you fixate on resale and suffer while using it. Owned both, have to agree with you that indeed driving comfort, driving fun, versatility, plus added features of the montero makes it an excellent value for money. More power autodeal! :)
