Fully agree...many times the instruction, fine points and tips are way more interesting and valuable than watching someone swing fish into the boat. And you do the instruction so well !

You are quickly becoming my favorite Youtube angler. This is the kind of video I appreciate...instructional and informative. You come off as a great guy and I appreciate the humbleness of your approach. Thanks for the great videos and keep up the good work....much appreciated by someone learning to walleye fish after years of bass fishing.

I've always wondered what a solution for floats laying flat (when properly weighted) was. I never considered the inside of the float being a key point to ensure the line drops down properly. The brass is a heck of a tip!

I really appreciate this video loaded with the "how to" information rather than catching fish. You gave me more useful information then any others I've watched on bobber fishing walleye. Great Great job...

I went out and got as close to the exact set up you talked about that i could find and we tried it out last weekend....took the kiddos out and it wasnt a lake dominant with walleye but lots of small mouth and pike and it was awesome! Cant wait to give it a world on some wallys this weekend! Perfect set up for slip bobber fishing

Hey Brett I watch that video about five times now, I really like it!!! That voice you dubbed in when you were measuring the arms length really made me laugh 🤣but seriously you do a great job at explaining the whole process and the more I watch it the better I understand that. Great tutorial. After watching in five times I'm picking up all the little subtleties of what you were talking about and teaching us guys. Thanks once again Brett, I really enjoyed it come I'm putting it in the archives.

I missed your face lately! Glad to see a new video! It's funny to hear that slip bobbers are the drop shot of the walleye world, since so many people are now catching walleye on drop shots too! But I'm going to re-set my bobber rod, because in my kayak, keeping on the move to look for walleye is enough to feel like I'm actually getting exercise at the same time!

Subscribed, I just learned a handful of tricks that otherwise I would have never known. That ChapStick example was spot on man!!!! Great information and very nicely done sir!!!

I've been using the slip rig here in southern Colorado for over 10 years, it truly is an effective method to get the bait in front of the walleye.

Up untill a couple years ago all I ever did was artificial lures and dead minnows on a jig (live minnows are illegal here). Used some worms on a bottom bouncer a few times over the last few years. Next season I am going to try and do a lot more rigging and slip bobbers with live bait. Used them a couple times as a little kid but avoided bobbers thinking it was boring for a long time and ended up using them for bluegill and actually had a blast.
