My husband and I took public transportation through Tuscany to a small village called Volterra. It was so gorgeous! The bus ride was beautiful, and our hotel was just a half block away from the bus stop. The balcony in our room overlooked the street and down the hill to see much of the Tuscan countryside. Great food, great people, gorgeous views. Going to Italy just to see Tuscany is worth it ❤

I stayed in a villa by Greve in Chiante on my one trip to Italy in 2001. It was absolutely not accessible by car, but the whole area was so dreamy, I'm still in love 22 years later

We went to Greve in Chianti in '96. Just the most beautiful, perfect little town!

Loved Tuscany before British Prime Minister Tony Blair made it popular. Remember going into a small shop purchased some eggs and fruit and was given sweets instead of change. Cinquale and Marina de Massa. Those were the days. The real Italy 🇮🇹

Loved it. Can you do more videos for bus or train to the agricultural hotels? Tx.

So fun story
I’m Italian living in Italy and I come from the south and I did from here to there by car
It took us between 7 and 9 hours, by car and we got up at 4 am to be able to eat lunch there
But it was a fun experience, if u can, try it

Edit:excuse my English sry if it’s hard to read

How much in American dollars would it cost to stay there?

Video and pictures do not show the beauty like seeing it in person. 😢

Just reminding people in case this is the only video they see countryside is the only place you'd want a car in Italy. In cities you really should just walk and use public transport. The cities are so old and winding and packed driving there as a foreigner is a nightmare and you really don't need to anyway. They were built before cars so everything is extremely walkable and for everything slightly further away public transport is the easiest option.

How can we rent a car? Where and how to do it? Is it worth it?
