Promise, Texas is no place to raise a family. There's no rain, businesses are failing, and the kids can't wait to grow up and move away. Some folks say the town is cursed. But just when things are at their darkest, a mysterious boy wanders out of the wilderness with nothing but the clothes on his back and a strange mat tucked under his arm. He has a message for the people of Promise, but they're slow to listen. They are blind to the similarities between the slow death of the town and their own parched souls. Confronted by their spiritual shortcomings, the town's indignation turns to outrage. Still, the boy holds true to his message: there is no hope without Christ, and Promise can only be remade through earnest communion with the Father. In the end, with his back against the wall - surrounded by skeptics - the boy is forced to reveal his true identity.

I remember that fateful day in 2017 when i walked into doctors room he said to me Mercy am sorry u will never be able to have children of ur own, you have two blocked fallopian tubes, no eggs ie premature menopause, and hormonal imbalance. In 2019 i got my baby boy without any medication but Gods miracle. He is turning 4 years this month. That a miracle i will never forget n will alway thank God for forever.

When I was 19, I suffered self hate, I thought I was ugly, unloved, worthless empty shell. Why am I here? Who would ever want me? So I went into my Mom's bedroom, opened her dresser drawer and took out her sleeping pills. I poured them into my hand then looked at the wretched. pathetic image in the mirror. I stared and then something happened to me. I saw a light behind my head in the mirror. The light slowly worked it's way down my body calming me, soothing me, warming me. Then a voice whispered in my ear "You are worthy." I stood there for a long time. I put the pills back. Today I am 73 and I can say that was the most profound moment of my life. An angel saved me that day. And in this movie when Gabe says, "You are worthy" I thanked God and cried.

After the Doctor told me that my Mom wasn't going to survive the night, I sat in the waiting room of the hospital and prayed. An old woman wrapped her arms around me and prayed with me. I felt her love flow through me and I was calmed. As we were praying my best friend came in and called my name. I opened my eyes and the old woman was gone. Across from me, a little girl stared at me with awe on her face. I heard her tell her Mommy that she just saw an Angel. I believe and nobody will ever convince me that God doesn't send us Angels when we need them. The Doctors by the way are amazed that Mom pulled through and is still with us!

Update: 5 - 16 - 23 My precious Mom went home to our Lord tonight. I want to thank those of you who have commented on the original post. Mom loved to read your comments. She went home peacefully and surrounded by her loved ones. Praise be to God.

I love this movie, when he said my name is Gabriel and his wings came out, and he reminds people that "He was just a messenger" I got chills all over my body and tears falls into my eyes

I was 5 years old and was in the hospital with an intestinal blockage.A nun came in my room to pray with me right before the surgery. She placed a catholic pendant in my hand and prayed.After prayer they came to do an X-ray so the surgeon would know where to cut…the blockage was GONE! God had healed me! I had “the faith of a child”…don’t ever lose faith in HIM. So many more miracles I have seen.Praise our Heavenly Father and our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ ❣️
