Trans is an umbrella term, meaning it technically covers all other genderqueer identities such as genderfluid, non-binary, agender, etc. While calling yourself trans is fine, it can be misleading considering that when someone says they’re trans they’re assumed to be the “opposite” of their agab. I’m non-binary, and although I fall under the trans umbrella I try not to use the term as it is misleading, but there is nothing wrong with being genderqueer and using transgender to describe yourself ❤

This cracks me up, I also have a track record of propagating trans folks in my relationships. So far only 2, but once I hit a third I will no longer be able to believe it's a coincidence. (Unless you count myself, in which case I've already hit 3)
