Jo Ellen is a nurse practitioner in the division of Pediatric Neurology at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. She is a member of the Pediatric Stroke and Vascular Anomalies multidisciplinary team. Join Jo Ellen as she reviews the different types of strokes (perinatal, presumed perinatal, arterial ischemic and CSVT) that occur in the pediatric population. A focus will be placed on identification, diagnosis, evaluation, treatment & outcomes.
This lecture will help APPs who work in pediatrics and/or who wish to enter into the specialty field of pediatrics, pediatric neurology, emergency medicine, general neurology, and primary care.
