After delivering a devastating Black Flash, Yuji successfully separated Sukuna from Megumi’s body and turned Sukuna into a pokemon, putting an end to this war. Upon releasing that Sukuna has been defeated, Uraume gives up and mocked that they only won because they were born 1000 years too late. “BUT~” there’s more than just that!. You see, the main reason Sukuna lost is because he did not have a REAL body, as he manifested through vessels and fingering others bodies. This is a very deadly weakness for the king of curses, since all attacks from Yuji and Nobara are deadly to him, which directly target his soul and are able to shake his control away. So I believe if Sukuna had a real body, then we would have had Sukuna Kaisen.

If Sukuna had his real body he would have died to Gojo because he wouldn’t have mahoraga to help him bypass infinity

If he didnt have megumi he wouldve got hit by infinite void. The only way he got out of that situation is cause he swapped with megumi so he could take the hit and sukuna didnt have a way to bypass infinity unless he was in someone else's body

It wouldve been the same, is not as his soul is untouchable if he had his own body, he'd still be targeteable.
Besides, I think being a soul swapping from body to body is an advantage, as how he used Megumi, as he was inside his body, he could use at will Megumi's soul to tank mortal attacks, like the infinite void, also he could manifest his real body, which gave him a full recovery after his fight with Gojo to fight longer, while keeping his phisical abilities, while having an aditional soul to tank attacks for him if needed. Just imagine how long Sukuna would've lasted if he fought all those sourcerers right after fighting Gojo without that magical recovery, Kashimo himself was giving him a bit of a trouble, and he was just his first opponent post Gojo, he wasnt making it.

Another fact, since they wanted to save Megumi as well, Yuji did at least with slme of the other students. Due to that, their attacks weren't lethal but merely more subjugative wise so they could tear the barrier between Megumi and Sukuna so they can save him. If that wasn't the case and he was purely physical targetable, I think Yuji would've gone harder on him.

If Sukuna had a real body, he would've lost to Gojo since the starting round:

1) We already know thanks to the narrator that Gojo left him no space to use his Divine Flames, so that's out of the question.

2) If he didn't have Megumi's body, he would have no Mahoraga to counteract Infinity and create the World Slash, plus he couldn't have used Megumi's consciousness to tank Unlimited Void for him during the domain clashes.

3) Even with his extra set of arms and mouth, there is nothing in his arsenal that could've penetrated Infinity, so he'd he stuck to Domain Expansions and Domain Amplification, both of which we saw Gojo overcome with time.

Bottom line: Sukuna would've lost either way
