theres actually a mod that progresses on this story! basically you and the wizard catch them fighting and he tells them that the war was many years ago and they have no reason to hate eachother, since if anything theyre just making it worse. over time their dialogue shows that theyre trying their best to put their differences aside. such a great story mod, if i find the name ill try my best to put it here

Edit: i didnt find the exact mod it is, it could even be base game, but i have a bunch of mods that are for krobus!!!
