The evolution DOTP went through, both ui and game play, is imo the precursor for Arena. Look at arena and then look at duels on console. It's funny because arena, has a few of the gameplay problems early duels had. Like ai tapping inefficient land for casting. So perhaps it is relevant they noted DOTP in the timeline.
