I have the opposite problem, I have hEDS, and it is quite severe. I can touch the back of my scull the my back haha, it always freaks medical people out when they ask to see, I didn’t even know it wasn’t normal u til the first time I told a random nurse seeing me for a pre-op right after I was diagnosed at 21. We always knew I was extremely hyper mobile and got injured all the time along with a bunch of other significant signs and symptoms, we just didn’t know it was a thing and just accepted it was how I was as my mum has a lot of the same issues, just no where near as badly as me. That was until I was watching a thing on the news about someone who had it and just just sat there with my mouth getting bigger think over and over the further in “holy shit that is me! Holy shit that is me! Holy shit that is me!” Until it was over, then I did some research, found a specialist and asked my gp if she thought I should get tested. She had never heard of it either, so looked it up and said absolutely and I was diagnosed with type 3 EDS, now known as hEDS.

I'm in the same boat after 3 car accidents, rear end, head on and t-bone none of them my fault. So at 74 limited range of motion all around neck movement. I just was adjusted today at my chiropractor and I will have relief for about 3/4 days from the stiffness. Thank God for chiropractic service.❤
