For having one perspective to work with, this brings the flaming barrel pretty well to 3D. Also it's great to see your videos steadily upping the production value, good stuff.

You probably know this already; GZDoom draws voxels on screen as polygons. So, each voxel pixel is 16 triangles. Voxels are great for small pickups, and stuff, but when you have a lot of the bigger monsters on screen, your computing power takes a nose dive rather quickly.

Would it be possible to have layers of partial transparency for something like this? So the bright part of the fire is always in the middle no matter where it’s viewed from? Might also be useful for stuff like soul spheres
