Teenie Two - Full Scale Airplane - The Unveiling!!!

Some people get free stuff from their wonderful YouTube audience, well, I think I just won that contest - my subscriber just gave me a REAL AIRPLANE!!! Yes, you heard right - raymondk just gave me a REAL, full scale, plane! This has gotta be one of the most incredible gifts a guy could get, and I just got it! Thanks so much for the plane Raymond! I'm still having a hard time believing that I actually own a plane! Your trust and faith in my future success is humbling, and we only hope to make you proud as we share our experience with the rest of the world!

Also thanks to my Dad for traveling half way across the country (for about 2.5 days straight with me), to help me pick this plane up. I really appreciate his help, as he helped to cover lots of the associated expenses and shier labor of get this little beauty packed up and transported safely back home only to help too with the storage for the moment. I know he and I will really enjoy working on this project together, but without his help, it would have been probably just another pipe-dream! Thanks Dad!

What you can expect, YouTube audience...

I hope to share the highlights of this process, as I work toward repairing a few issues with this plane, and upgrading a few features to suit our specific needs. As we work on these items, I hope to give you all a glimpse of some of the work involved in repairs, and our thought process on how, what, and when we do them. Real airplanes are bigger, more expensive, and potentially much more dangerous, so this process may be more along the lines of showing you all what we did, after we know it worked, but we haven't totally decided how we'll handle this plane project. Whatever we decided to do, we hope to keep your audience as we embark on a new, crazy-exciting endeavor!

Very cool. I was honored to have met Calvin Parker many years ago. He was living in Killeen, Texas and I was working for the Killeen Daily Herald newspaper. I did a nice feature story on him and the airplane. At the time, Mr. Parker was up in age, the original Teenie Two was in storage in Arizona, and he was trying to get help moving the airplane and the rest of his belongings to Texas.
